Justina you have put a fantastic effort into presenting your speech and have made it through to the Year 7 Semi Finals! I really enjoyed listening to your speech and the expression and clarity in your voice was great!
Room 4 students have been working hard on putting together a speech that will persuade, entertain or inform and in some cases all of these in one! We have started our presentations and will have our class representatives selected by Friday afternoon for the Year 7 finals on Tuesday. The clarity and confidence in delivery of these so far is fantastic!
Everyone was set a challenge of capturing an image that shows "lines" in a way that they interpret. here are our submissions so far for week 1. Welcome back to term 4... I hope everyone has had a good break. This term is set to be another great term of learning and fun for all with lots of exciting things planned for all. To start things off this Friday 17th October we have our school athletics at the Caledonian Sports Ground, Logan Park. In class this term we are focusing on communication through the arts, which will have everyone enjoying various forms of dance, drama, media creation and arts related activities with an end goal of producing some sort of presentation/performance showcasing a few of the skills we will be having fun developing this term.
SPEECHES.....some love to talk while others don't however everyone is straight into planning some form of speech to present to the class at the end of week 2 in preparation for our school speech finals in week 3/4 - the speech is to be 3 minutes long and can be persuasive, informative or just straight out entertaining within reason. I look forward to seeing what is put together in the coming week. Emily - A fantastic effort put into all that you do and contribute to the classroom and your learning!
